With The Last Of Us being such a massive hit for Naughty Dog winning best game of 2013, we had no doubt a Last Of Us 2 would be announced at some point in the future. Although Naughty Dog are yet to make any officials announcements and with the team focusing on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as their next major release. We wasn't expecting to hear anything of The Last Of Us 2 anytime soon.

Thanks to this awesome discovery by a member from NEOGAF, fans of the game should be excited to know Naughty Dog are at least in the very early production stages of The Last Of Us 2.

Michael Knowland a lead character artist who used to work for Santa Monica Studios, has revealed his involvement with Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4 and a yet to be announced AAA game. His Linked-in profile has since been updated to The Last Of Us 2, with Michael Knowland mentioning his 1 month involvement with head sculpture prototypes on the sequel.
