Pre-Order The Witcher 3 Now -  Learn More

The highly anticipated Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will no doubt be a huge open world adventure for RPG fans to explore, but thanks to this early reveal by GameStop we now have an idea of CD Projekt RED's ambitious efforts. GameStop is giving away the open world map at no additional cost by simply pre-ordering The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from one of their retail outlets.

A reddit user who has already acquired one of these maps has shared some vital details regarding the scale of the game and thanks to our friends at SegmentNext.com we have learnt that Novigrad one of the many cities you will come to discover in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt measures around 8.5 x 8.5 km which brings its total to 72.25 square km. While another city in the game Skellige is 8 x 8 km bringing its total to 64 square km.

Now these numbers may not mean much to you on paper, but comparing it to Skyrim's entire open world map of 14.3 square km should give you a clue as to just how large two out of the many Cities in The Witcher 3 is compared to skyrim's entire map.

This map will no doubt take you over 300 hours to complete so get ready to put your life on pause if you are ready to go into this adventure. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is making its way to PS4, Xbox One and PC next May and is available to Pre-Order today.

Check out the exclusive 15 mins of spoiler free gameplay courtesy of IGN and leave us your thoughts and comments below telling us what you are most looking forward to experiencing in Wild Hunt.
