Vincent Vukovic Community Manager at DICE has just informed us that they will be revealing the next generation of all-out warfare with the brand new action shooter Battlefield 4. This would mean that the best in class multiplayer feature popular on the PS3 will be making its way to the PS4. The best in class will be a massive 64 player battle, running at an amazingly smooth sixty frames per second.
"Even if you start playing Battlefield 4 on PS3, we want to make your transition to Playstation 4 smooth and effortless. You will be able to carry all your Battlefield 4 stats from PS3 to PS4 when you are ready to upgrade." Said Vukovic.

We are sure Playstation Battlefield 4 fans out there are as delighted about this news as we are.  The game is expected to release on the current PS3 on October 29th 2013, with the next gen system following soon after.

DICE will also be keeping the Battlefield 4 action going with all year round premium membership service. Players signed to the premium are promised new weekly content, themed digital expansion packs, and personalisation options, and as you rank up in your stats, you can rest assured that it will be carried over from the PS3 to PS4 when you decide to upgrade.

You can find out more news about Battlefield at EA's 2013 Gamescom news conference on August 20th at 10 o'clock am ET, where EA will be revealing a first glimpse at the new battlefield 4 multi-player mode and maps.
