In a recent report, CFO Masaru Kato has said that the majority of potential customers actually prefer the Playstation 4 over Wii U, Xbox One and other similar products competing in the market.
The announcement came during Sony's current earnings call. CFO Masaru Kato said some polls are showing eighty percent of potential  customers are selecting the PS4 as their preferred choice.

"This is encouraging news" Kato announced on the call. "We are doing all we can to make sure there are enough PS4's on launch date to meet demands."

CFO Masaru Kato also added that the Playstation 4 E3 2013 event was a success for Sony.
Kato did not give specific details on the polls he was referring to during the call, but once we find out, we will let you know.

The Playstation launches worldwide this holiday at a retail price of $399/£349/€399.
A hundred dollars below XboxOne.
Unfortunately for our British cousins across the ocean, Sony are no longer  guaranteeing that the Playstation 4 orders will be available on launch day.
