Sony Plans to release plans for PS4 at Gamescom 2013

For several weeks since E3 2013, the buzz has been around when Sony plans to officially announce a release date for the PS4. We know Sony has been talking about Gamescom 2013 in germany this year being a major event for next generation developers. Gamescom is one of the last major Gaming press event for the year, so many are expecting Sony to draw the curtain on their big reveal date at the show.
Sony does in fact intend taking advantage of the media hype surrounding Gamescom 2013, thus using it to make new announcements about the Playstation 4. We know some new games will debut to the world at the conference, but we don't know if this is going to include the exact date for the PS4 release.
Sony's special event is taking place on the 20th August at 6:00 BST (British Summer Time) 1:00 EST (Eastern Standard Time) and the show will be broadcasted live on several online media hubs, for fans to watch.
Sony has also announced that the conference will include development on future PS3 games like: Beyond: Two Souls and new Playstation Vita games as well.
Their main focus will of course be on the release plans for the playstation 4.
We are very excited about the upcoming event and are looking forward to finding out what Sony does intend to reveal at the conference. We will keep you posted, on this and more as the story develops.
Gamescom officially starts in Germany on the 21st of August and PS4.sx will be covering all the latest developments about the PS4 at the event.
