Steve Sinclair, creative director of Warframe has announced today that the free-to-play multiplayer action game will enable cross-platform play between the Playstation 4 and PC gamers.
In a recent interview, with Gamingbolt, Sinclair said, "Our Aim is cross-platform play. Our target is to update the Playstation 4 version to run in synchronicity with the PC version, including all the same, features, contents, and events."

This cross play feature Sinclair and his team are working on could definitely give them an advantage over Planetside 2 another PC action shooter coming to the Playstation 4, which does not include PS4-PC cross play.

"The GPU is a beast, and the game looks phenomenal on the PS4" said Steve Sinclair, when asked if the PS4 version will match up to the quality of the high end PC versions millions of gamers have come to play and love.

"The Playstation 4's unified memory is what has made this console so awesome to develop on. You can utilise threads to generate graphic assets, and textures. You can use the GPU to process effects data, and physics."

Steve Sinclair promised that Warframe will be ready and available at the launch of the PS4, including new events, new factions, and new mission types.
PC players will be delighted to know, that they will also be getting the same new features as well.
