DRIVECLUB-Coming-Early-2014

Sony's Big Boss Man Shuhei Yoshida, had some disappointing news to share with DriveClub fans today.
The eagerly anticipated racer will unfortunately not be launching this year with the PS4. This includes DriveClub PS plus edition. DriveClub will be available as part of the instant game collection along with titles like Resogun once a new date has been confirmed early 2014.
Mr Yoshida explains that more time was needed by the team at Evolution studios to truly make DriveClub the best next-gen racer the world has ever seen. This news doesn't come at the best of times, considering Watch Dogs, another big PS4 launch title has also been recently delayed until Spring to 2014.

Rest assured though all is not lost, as there are still tons and tons of exciting new games that will be launching with Playstation 4 this year such as, Contrast. Compulsion Games, creators of Contrast are offering their highly anticipated title free to all Playstation Plus members as one of the instant Game Collections on PS4.

Gamers can also look forward to incredible launch titles like, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Killzone: Shadow Fall, and the all action Battlefield 4 to name just a few. There's also a lot of indie games coming to PS4 this year, which should keep even the hardcore gamers amongst you, busy right into 2014.

Mr Yoshida also mentioned an exclusive, "Open Weekend" test trial of Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer to all PS plus members on 28-29 of December.

As with any new major game launch especially on a new console, we can expect a few hiccups along the way. We can't wait to get our hands on the complete version of DriveClub. We were very impressed  by what we saw at various game events, so a few more months of tweaking and polishing by Evolution studios will only give DriveClub the justice it deserves on the PS4.
