How GTAV Will Use DualShock 4 To Enhance Gameplay Experience

Grand Theft Auto V: Swipe, Touch, Tapping Fun With DualShock 4

November 13, 2014 By Mont Brown

Rockstar have revealed how PlayStation 4 owners will be able to enjoy GTAV using the DualShock 4 controller. According to Rockstar on November 18, when Grand Theft Auto V launches on the PS4 it will take full advantage of the system hardware to improve every facet of the game, from increased visual resolution to twice the draw distance and for the very first time in the series add a brand new First Person gameplay mode to the open world adventure.

As part of Rockstars exclusive deal with Sony, PS4 owners will be able to access additional features created specifically for the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4 controller.

Some of these features include the ability to seamlessly switch camera angle from a first person view to third person on the fly. You will also be able to easily change weapons, throw a fiery molotov cocktail in a gun fight and switch to your favorite radio station all with a quick tap, swipe or touch of the control pad.

Rockstar has also added some pretty sweet new features that will make  full use of the DualShock 4's in-built speakers. From listening to conversations on the police radio to chatting with your criminal associates online and with Michael, Franklin and Trevor during gameplay.

The DualShock 4 controller’s light bar will now change different colors based on which character you are using and flash blue and red when you have the Los Santos Police department hot on your trail.

These are just some of the updates Rockstar are adding to what is already one of the best open world games ever.  Grand Theft Auto V will be available this November 18th, early Pre-Orders will also get 1 million dollars to spend in $500,000 increments both in GTAV and GTAOnline. Now how is that for a starting trust fund.
