PlayStation 4 PS4 is the fastest-selling console in UK history

PS4 250,000 Units Surpasses PSP Record of 185,000

According to official sales figures Sony's PlayStation 4 is the fastest-selling console in UK history with 250,000 units sold so far. The report was documented by Chart-Track which said PS4 beat the 8 yr record previously held by Sony's PSP handheld device. The PSP portable was launched in 2005 and sold 185,000 on the first day.  Chart-Track also states that the Playstation 4 has surpassed Xbox One which came out November 22nd and its PS3 predecessor.

Call of Duty: Ghosts has also made a strong comeback to the top of the chart, beating FIFA 14 to 2nd position.
Battlefield 4 is in 3rd and Killzone Shadow Fall is 4th. Assassin's Creed 4  stays in 5th position and Lego Marvel Super Heroes stays at a steady  6th position. Grand Theft Auto is at 7th, Need for Speed: Rivals by Ghost Games is 8th. Just Dance 2014 is 9th and Batman Arkham is 10th.
