Sony are well aware of the demand for the Playstation 4, and has apologised for lack of consoles in stores and online leading up to christmas holidays.

Fergal Gara Sony Computer Entertainment UK Managing Director is asking Playstation fans to be patient, Sony are working round the clock to replenish as many empty shelves with PS4, but demand has been incredibly higher for the Playstation 4 than any other gaming console in history.

In an interview with The Gaming Liberty Gara said,

We understand how incredibly frustrating this may be for most of you patiently waiting for your local stores to get re-stocks, but according to Gara, it is worth popping in or calling your local retail outlets once in a while to find out if  more PS4's are back on shelves.
