Andrew House Reveals The PS4 Has Sold 2.1 Million Units Globally

Andrew House President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment has just revealed how many units the PS4 has sold globally and the figures are astonishing. In his post on Playstation blog Mr House said how delighted he was to be sharing a new milestone with gamers, as PS4 sales continue to smash world records.

The PS4 launched in North America on November 15th 2013. Sony's PS4 system got off to  flying start selling more than one million units in just 24 hours. Now that the console has launched globally across a total of 32 countries worldwide, including Latin America and Europe. Mr House informs us that more than 2.1 million PS4's have been sold.


"It is an impressive and record-setting achievement for our company and for the gaming industry, and we could not have done it without you," said Andrew House, before going on to thank the Playstation fans for their vote of confidence in the Sony Brand.
