Ramone Russell community manager from SCEA San Diego Studios has just updated us with some exciting news for Major League Baseball fans. The team at San Diego Studios have been working hard on MLB 14: The Show for a while and have decided to share some exclusive information, screenshots and release dates.

According to Ramone the teams ultimate goal is to develop the perfect sports game, this dedication to perfection has been one of the secret ingredient to why the MLB: The Show series has been one of the highest rated sport franchise in the last eight years. So what can you expect from MLB 14: The Show on the Playstation 4?
First of all there are over 50 brand spanking new features and upgrades, designed to immerse, enhance and streamline your overall experience. MLB14 includes a new UI, designed from the ground up specially for the Playstation 4, which Ramone tells us has been carried across to all versions with improvements to efficiency and responsiveness. Quick counts will cut the games completion time in half.
The game now features Year-to-year saves allowing gamers to carry all their invested hours of gameplay on MLB 14 over to next years MLB 15 and beyond that. This is also complemented by the re-inclusion of cross-platform saves on all playstation platforms. Community challenges puts the creative power in your hands allowing players to recreate various baseball scenarios, be it from historical events, to moments taking from the present or an entirely new challenge all together. These different community challenges can be very easily created, customized and shared with friends online.
