Angry Birds Stella Gets Her Own Groove

Finnish developer Rovio has revealed their latest angry birds venture today with the announcement of a Spin-off from one of its popular angry birds character Stella. The announcement was made this morning with Rovio revealing the details of the multimedia Angry Birds Stella project focused around the pink bird Stella and her new group friends. Angry Birds Stella will span across multiple media entertainments, including video games, toys, cartoons and books. Rovio also mentioned that this new Spin-off will be in use for many years ahead, suggesting a long projection plan for the angry birds Stella brand.

In the press announcement Rovio stated that Stella will expand upon sections of the Angry Birds universe that fans of the series have never seen before. The spin-off will feature brand new content centered around messages of empowerment, inspiration and other real life relatable issues, while still keeping its unique angry bird quirkiness and fun.

CEO Mikael Hed said in the press statement, "Angry Birds Stella is breaking the typical mundane, by presenting strong, passionate characters that stand for something, while including lots of action, and real life scenarios into the mix. The Angry Birds Stella story will grow and evolve right across digital and physical entertainment media platforms, bringing them together in fun, exciting and innovative ways. Stella and her buddies are here for good, and they have lots of adventure on the way."
