Velocity 2X On Playstation 4 Featuring Cross Buy And More
February 8th, 2014 by Dean HowardFuturLab Managaing Director James Marsden has been answering a few question posted by fans of the upcoming futuristic sci-fi shooter Velocity 2X being developed for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. During the Q &A discussion James clarified Velocity 2X's resolution and frame rate, stating that it would be suicide if the game was anything less than 60 frames per seconds on the PS Vita and 60 frames per second, 1080p on the Playstation 4.
James went into more details on Velocity 2X's frame rate telling fans that the team are using a new physics system, eliminating glitches and lags for a buttery smooth experience.
Marsden also said although they have no plans to release a PS3 version, FuturLab are not ruling out the possibility. Finally we discovered Velocity 2X will have a far deeper storyline to its previous release as well as a cross buy and save feature.
FuturLab are yet to set a release date, with James mentioning the team will set the price accordingly.
