Sledgehammer Games: Call Of Duty 2014 In-Game Image Teaser

An image from this year's Call of Duty Game has been released by developers Sledgehammer Games. COD's yearly releases has been criticized of late for its  lack of innovation and originality, but the image teaser above may just be the start of something new. Sledgehammer  Games had privately shown gameplay footages from this years Call Of Duty game at last months GDC 2014 conference in San Francisco and according to the developer the picture perfect image we now see above is actually from in-game character models. "Taking the next-gen first," approach Sledgehammer are confident that this years Call Of Duty will visually blow gamers of current generation consoles, (PS4, Xbox One and PC) away.

Along with the first in a series of new COD titles by Sledgehammer Games. The developers have joined the ranks of  Infinity Ward, and Treyarch in developing annual Call of Duty games in a three year rotational cycle. Activison states this is to ensure that each developer gets ample amounts of time to make the best COD game they can each year, including DLC for fans of the long running series.

Seeing is truly believing and although the new image above does looking extremely realistic, it will be very interesting to see how the graphics and the game plays once more details is released from the studio. What do you guys think of the new Call of Duty image?
