Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist Coming This May

Being a huge fan of Street fighter, I was super excited to discover this latest action trailer of Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, a real live action series based off the popular game by Capcom. Despite the terrible movie remakes over the past years which we won't bother mentioning here, this upcoming teaser trailer showing a detailed look at Ken and Ryu's story pretty much hits the mark as far as fan made films are concerned.
The choice of characters, location and even the action combat sequence shown in the trailer is authentic to the game I grew up with and love since the days my friends and I would stop off at the local arcade to spend all our pocket money.
Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy series has proving that a live action series remade from a video game is very possible and Machinma hopes to recapture that magical success with Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.The series will launch in May, directed by Joey Ansah, (who also appears in the series as Akuma.) Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist is a translation of "ansatsuken" (the martial art that is studied and practiced by Ryu, Ken, Goken and Akuma.) The story begins with a young Ken and Ryu building their friendship and rivalry in the heat of battle.
We have also confirmed that Capcom has given their seal of approval towards the series and in addition to the teaser trailer above, you can also check out the short film below from Street Fighter Legacy, which lays down the foundation of the series ahead.
