EA Set To Also Reveal 6 New Titles Currently In Development At E3 2014

EA's CEO Andrew Wilson has revealed exciting news during the companies post earning conference call last night. Wilson announced that the publisher has a major Triple A game powered by the formidable Frostbite 3 engine and developed by some of EA's most talented teams. Frostbite 3 is EA's propriety engine that has brought games like Need for Speed: Rivals and Battlefield 4 to life.
Those keen to discover what this new game could be won't have to wait very long as Wilson said the game will be announced next month at this years E3 2014 and is scheduled for release during the third quarter of this year.
"If you don't have a yearly release of Battlefield, you've got a major gap that must be filled," said EA CFO Blake Jogensen to investors via the metro. "The way we are filling this major void is essentially releasing new games like Dragon Age, FIFA: World Cup,
A Golf Game, UFC, and The Sims. I would say that fills about two-thirds of the gap and the rest of this hole we would assume is being filled by this new, unannounced title."
Jorgensen did also say that EA was fully aware of how compelling this new game has to be if it is to succeed against other Triple AAA games during the busy holiday season and he is confident that when gamers get a glimpse at what they have install they will be convinced of its unique offerings to the gaming industry.
Wilson also said during the earnings call that EA are planning to not only discuss previously revealed games, but they intend on unveiling another 6 new projects currently in development at EA.
"Over the next few years, we plan on delivering some epic new entertainment experiences to our players, developed on a foundation of creativity and innovation," said Wilson. "I am looking forward to sharing more information with our gamers in the next few short weeks."
EA's E3 2014 press conference, which the company is calling, "EA World Premiere: E3 2014 Preview," is happening on Monday, June 9th beginning at 12 p.m. PDT. The event will be held at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles and is expected to last about sixty-minutes.
