We recently covered a story, surrounding circulating rumours of the Playstation 4 Dualshock 4 controller being able to work on PC computers. We knew a few developers that were certainly looking into it, and we could see how the functionality could work. The question was would Sony do it. We couldn't see any reason why they wouldn't, if anything it would expand the use of the PS4 controller to PC owners.
A huge reason the Xbox 360 controllers did so well, was their integration to work on PC games.
As of today we can confirm by the Big Boss man himself, Shuhei Yoshida Sony Worldwide President, that the PS4 controller will work straight out of the box on PC's.

There will be no porting, or extra mumbo jumbo to configure, just a straight forward plug, sync and and play.

  1. @yosp Any chance you guys release a driver to use DS4 with windows? Or something?
@Napo2k the analog sticks and buttons will work just fine
