Unlike so many shoot-em-up-games that glorify and hype the atrocities of War. Valiant Hearts: The Great War aims to approach the concept of War from a different angle. Instead of placing the spotlight on super soldiers with exoskeletal suits, Valiant Hearts pulls our attention to the lives of ordinary men and women, forced to deal with incredibly difficult and heart breaking situations, caught in the chaotic background of World War 1.

In todays Developer Diary, the creative team behind Valiant Hearts, discuss what inspired the game and the research involved in making the games unique environment and characters. Using real life stories from World War 1, the team put together a unique game all about love, loss and the adventure of a life time.

We cannot wait to get our hands on Valiant Hearts: The Great War making its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 debut on the 24th of June 2014.
