Watch Dogs Hint Camden, New Jersey As New Location For Watch Dogs 2
July 29th, 2014 By Mont BrownWatchdogs official twitter account has revealed a teaser, hinting at Camden, New Jersey as the new location for Watch Dogs 2. Though the message doesn't help Camden New Jersey's public relations, it does however open up an interesting topic as we research other high crime city's not just in America, that could make a great location for part 2 of the action, stealth and hack series.
1. San Pedro Sula, Honduras
For two years back to back the city of San Pedro Sula had the world's highest rate for murder, surpassing Mexico’s Ciudad Juárez. It made the top spot for the most dangerous city in the world for a 2nd time with a murder rate of 169 intentional homicides per a hundred thousand inhabitants, which averages around 3 murders a day. Yikes!
2.) Acapulco, Mexico
This once tourist destination is now a shadow of its former glory. Acapulco has some of the best beaches in all of Mexico but with the city populated by Drug cartels and corruption we think the only person feeling right at home would be Tony Montana from Scarface.
3.) Caracas, Venezuela
The capital city of Venezuela, Caracas has one of the largest murder rates in the globe, with 122 murders per one-hundred thousand citizens. The city is under siege with drug lords, street fighting armed robbery and assault. It is recommend those brave enough to visit Caracas do not go alone or out in the day time or night time alone.
4) Maceió, Brazil
Brazil world cup 2014's host country has an incredible 14 most violent cities on the crime data list, with Maceió the capital of the Alagoas state rating the highest amongst them all. Around 135 murders are reported per 100,000 citizens every year, surpassing even Rio de Janeiro, known for its slums and favelas.
5.) Camden, New Jersey
Our final choice had to be Ubisoft's number one most dangerous city in all America. Just from a simple search on google we discovered Camden, NJ is rated number 2 out of a 100 in the national crime index date base, with 100 being the safest and 2 being . . . you guessed it. What is even more shocking is the data we uncovered even suggest that 1 in 39 per 1000 residents are likely to be victims of assault ranging from rape, robbery and even murder in Camden, New Jersey. So we would strongly suggest you hide your kids, hide your wives, and hide your husbands.
(Note!) Todays research and article is by no means, meant to be offensive to anyone's City or Country. Neither is it meant to make light of what really should be a very serious subject matter. Unfortunately the victims who suffer most are usually innocent, unable to escape these red zones. So before we open this topic up for discussion, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge those affected by such heinous crimes.
What high crime city beyond those already listed would you like Watch Dogs 2 set?
