10tons Ltd have unveiled Crimsonland will be making its world debut on PlayStation 4 on July 15th, 2014. Crimsonland is a fun dual-stick, top looking down action game, reminiscent of highly addictive classic old school shooters. Crimsonland is the first game the development team at 10tons first established their name back in 2003, with the title starting as a student project, reaching such overwhelming popularity that it required the team to form a company to support it.

10tons informs us that the PS4 version of the game is basically the same game, but with brand new content, HD graphics and newly design tweaks to improve what is already intrinsically there.

For those unfamiliar with Crimsonland, you take on the role of a Trooper, besieged by hordes of Zombies, Giant Spiders, Aliens and other monsters from all directions. The more you shoot, the more will keep coming, soon enough you will be running for your life, searching for awesome new power ups to help clear the legions of monsters hot on your heel.

Players will have access to over 30 weapons and 55 bonus perks. These perks give you special abilities, allowing you to reload weapons faster and shoot chemical poisoned bullets. Gamers will only get the option to select a few of these perks at a time before the game begins, so choose wisely in order to ensure maximum survival in that round. There are over 60 mission in campaign mode with 3 difficulty settings, and 5 survival gameplay modes all with dedicated leaderboards focused to single, 2-4 and local co-op players. The co-operation mode works by including a monster multiplier based on player count, so 4 players will equal hundreds of enemies on screen at the same time.
