The Crew and Watch_Dogs Comparison Video
July 25th, 2014 By Maya MayfieldIs it just us or did anyone else notice the uncanny similarities between The Crew's beta testing via Gamespot TwitchTV channel and the driving mechanics in Watch_Dogs?
The Crew
The Crew is an open world racer across the United States of America, which boasts an incredible 90 minutes of driving from coast to coast in-game.
The single player campaign mode is over 20 hours long and involves having to infiltrate an underground criminal ring in order to expose the corruption within it. The missions can be either played alone or with friends via multiplayer matchmaking modes.
Watch_Dogs
Watch_Dogs is an action packed open world adventure in which players must go on a mission of revenge to infiltrate and expose the corruption within Chicago's most criminal elite groups. Watch_Dogs utilizes cyber warfare as its unique selling feature turning Chicago into their very own playground of mischief and mayhem.
Our Thoughts . . .
We don't know if these similarities between both games is a good thing especially for The crew as, the driving mechanics of Watch_Dogs has been one of the major complaints gamers have had with the game. With other polished looking racing titles coming out this Fall/Winter season. Ubisoft may want to reconsider changing The Crew's November 11th release date in order to avoid stiff competition from the likes of DriveClub and Project Cars also launching around the same time.
Take a look at the two example videos above and tell us what you think in the comments below.
