QuakeCon 2014 Begins Today

QuakeCon 2014 is the yearly gathering of all things id Software/Bethesda and it begins today at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to daily tournaments in both the recently revealed Battlecry and The Elder Scrolls Online PvP, todays festivities will also feature the first world exclusive look at the next-generation Doom at 6:00 p.m. Central Time. Kicking off tomorrow there will be a panel of special guests from The Elder Scrolls Online developer ZeniMax Online Studios discussing the future of the game.
Saturdays Gathering tournament will feature Obsidian Entertainment CEO Feargus Urquhart, Chirs Kluwe former Minnesota Vikings punter and others taking about "Creating the Perfect Video Game."
All matches and panels will be livestreamed on the official QuakeCon 2014 TwitchTV channel, with ZeniMax's panel livestreaming on its own channel. Unlike previous QuakeCon events, this year will not feature a keynote from John Carmack, id Software's co-founder and current Oculus CTO.
