Combining Story and Puzzles Together On PlayStation 4

Tom Jubert one of the writers of The Talos Principle for PlayStation 4, has shared some new info with us about the upcoming Puzzle adventure today. The Talos Principle was first announced during PlayStation's press conference at last months E3 in June, and is described as a first-person philosophical puzzler from Croteam, the team behind the Serious Sam games. Tom explains the title as being atmospheric and sci-fi, with loads of puzzles to figure out for those looking for a challenge.

You take on the role of a robot in a digital recreation of the ancient world, exploring the vast void at the command of an omnipresent god-like voice from the sky. The Talos Principle puzzle mechanics takes its inspirations from Serious Sam 4, sharing the latest iteration of the Serious Sam engine.

The team are still holding back on revealing too much details yet, but do promise fans of the original Serous Sam games to expect loads of explorations and hundreds of secrets to uncover. Expect The Talos Principle later this year on PlayStation 4, stay tuned for more info in future posts.
