Dan Houser from Rockstar has broken a lot of gamers dreams of ever seeing GTA V on the Playstation 4. In an interview with the Guardian earlier today, Houser confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 will not be making its way to the Playstation 4 just yet, though Rockstar are very much interested in working with the new tech at some point in the future. According to Dan Houser, Rockstar are only focusing on current generation consoles at the moment and do not have another GTA 6 game in development.

Fear not future Playstation 4 owners, because there is still away of getting your hands on GTA V on the PS4 and it's called Gaikai Onlive.

According to our sources at Sony HQ once the Playstation 4 is in its first cycle year, gamers of the next-gen system will be able to download and play Grand Theft Auto 5 via Gaikai Onlive, with a PS Plus subscription.

Unfortunately gamers may not get an overall next-gen feel on GTA V, when it comes to the games graphics, considering that Grand Theft Auto 5 was created for current-gen consoles. Gamers though will be able to instantly share their crazy online crime capers as and when it happens using the DualShock 4's share button during gameplay, so thats something to look forward to.

Although the battle does appear to be lost, the war to play Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS4 is far from over.
Now the only thing you need to try and do from now till then is avoid anymore GTA 5 spoilers, which I can say will be more of a challenge than eventually seeing GTA 5 On PS4.
