Valiant Hearts: The Great War is Coming to Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 in 2014

Ubisoft has just announced a new game, Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be making its way to the PS4 and PS3 in 2014.  Valiant Hearts is designed on UbiArt Framework — known for its use in the super cool Rayman games. Valiant Hearts: The Great War, is a puzzle adventure game, that will follow five characters from various parts of the world  as they struggle to survive one of histories most devastating events. The 1st World War. This new project is being handled by Ubisoft Montpellier and they are aiming for released date on PS4 and PS3 sometime next year.
In Valiant Hearts, the five characters share one common goal, and that is to reunite a young German soldier with his missing lost love. As the five characters suffer together through the dangerous trenches, they’re guided by a German dog separated from its owner during an artillery attack. This dog will not only help the five characters survive, but will also serve as a guide to gamers during the action and puzzle sequence of the game.



Valiant Hearts sets to tackle the terrible tragedy of the war with an interest twist. The five characters are drawn in the shape of caricatures, representing different countries, and the fields of battle are artistic exaggerations of their real-life locations. Despite this artistic references, Valiant Hearts has a very serious subject matter, that the small team of ten developers at Ubisoft Montpellier studio want to bring across to a new generation of young kids.

Yoan Fanise Senior producer of Valiant Hearts, and his team are so passionate about this project, they want gamers to experience a piece of history fast approching its 100 years from an authentic point of view.

We like this idea, as it takes away from the over glorifying aspect of War, and aims to connect gamers with a piece of history from a genuine human view point. We can't wait to see more from Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
