Sony Boss Promises More PS4 by Christmas Holidays

Sony UK Boss Fergal Gara Promises More PS4 after Launch Day Pre-Order Rush.

Fergal Gara Sony's UK  Boss has gone on record to let gamers know, there will be a lot more PS4 available to meet the growing demands during the initial release date.
In an interview with EDGE, Gara said that while most of the general public may not be able to walk into their nearest retail outlet and pick up a console on launch day, Sony will be working hard to restock game stocks as soon as possible in the next weeks and months following.

“What I will say is that over the release window of the first two-three months, there will be ample stock available and we will catch up. Our Pre-Christmas demands have been huge and anyone who has preordered a Playstation 4 now, will most certainly get one before Christmas. Gamers need not worry as there will be more on top of that, except if the Ships carrying the PS4 sink, then that will be out of our control." Joked  Gara.

“We do have a significant volume on day one, but shipment two will be within days of that. So we are expecting a massive surge and a lot more consoles to come after that."

Gara finally gives a word of advice to gamers, telling them that if they do want to be guaranteed a PS4 on launch day. They must hurry and put their names down on one of Sony's partner  retailers because that at least puts their name first in case of any further delays on follow up volumes. "Christmas will be tight, but we intend to reach as many Gamers with a PS4 for the holidays." Gara concluded.
