Turtle Rock Studios have just unveiled their brand new next-generation only IP, titled Evolve. Backed by publisher 2K Games which paid an incredible $10.8 million dollars for the IP during last year's THQ auction, the Californian-based development team are making full use of this extra spending power, focusing Evolve only on the next-gen systems.

This brand new sci-fi multiplayer shooter-em-up puts a 4 player squad of alien hunters up against a single Alien monster also controlled by another separate player. The Alien Monster will grow larger and stronger through the course of the matches. Each hunter will have its own unique skills, items and abilities, but while the Alien Monster may be out gunned and out numbered, its incredible size and array of earth shattering attacks will make it more than enough of a nemesis to handle.

Like previous Turtle Rock titles, Evolve is being developed with tons of variety and replay value in mind. The aim is to create a fun competitive, co-op experience for players, unlike anything we have ever played before. Turtle Rock Studios invited Gameinformer to get their hands on the title and they will be revealing much more on this brand new IP in their February issue Magazine.

We cannot wait to discover more from Turtle Rock Studios Evolve, the very concept of 4 player controller monster hunters versus 1 player controlled alien monster sounds like a lot of fun.
Evolve will be available this fall on PS4, PC and Xbox One only.
