Daylight: Twitch User Can Interact with The Survival Horror Game
February 20th, 2014, by Dean HowardPlaystation 4 and PC horror game Daylight will enable Twitch members watching the live-gamplay to interact with the players by triggering-in game events while its being played. Daylight is the latest procedural horror game set for an April 8th release date by the makers of Blacklight Retribution. The developers and Twitch are definitely thinking outside the box, incorporating what will be a very exciting way for spectators to not only enjoy watching the game but to also participate by messing with players. Daylight will make use of the sites streaming to play sounds when particular words are mentioned in Twitch chat.
For example if the word "Woof Woof" was typed into the chat, Daylight will make a sound of a dog barking in the game. These triggers will be timed to avoid spamming and we have been informed the full list of commands will not be released.
Daylight is detailed to be a procedural generated thriller horror, where a different playthrough will bring about different results in scares, puzzles and levels. The game is set in an abandoned hospital where players must try to escape with nothing more than a smartphone as your only light source to guide you. Can You make it to Daylight?
Daylight will be released on the 8th of April on Playstation 4 and PC $14.99/€14.99/£11.99, both versions of the game will also be 3D compatible, adding a deeper immersive experience to the horror survival title.
