Playstation 4 Officially Out In Japan Today 2.22.
February 21st, 2014, by Dean HowardAfter what some would say was a very long wait, Sony has officially launched the Playstation 4 in its homeland of Japan. The ¥39,980 (£234) next-gen console is officially out now February 22nd in Japan as they are a few hours ahead of us in America and Europe. The long 3 months extended delay was unprecedented for PS4 to finally make its way to Japan, but was a necessary measure for Sony to take as the company faced off the Xbox One competition in critical Western locations.
The brand new Playstation 4 makes its Japanese debut today with a fantastic line up go games including; Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, Yakuza Ishin, Nobunaga's Ambition: Creation, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Resogun, Knack, Strider, Call of Duty Ghosts, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, NBA 2K14 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
