Sony Responds To Microsoft's Ditch PS3 Campaign For $100 Towards Xbox One

PS3. To Ditch Or Not To Ditch That Is The Question

February 6th, 2014 by Maya Mayfield

It appears the desperate claws of the marketing arm of Microsoft's PR team has started to show its ugly head in a Battle we had already concluded Sony being the victor a very long time ago. Unable to come close to the success of Sony's PS4. It appears Microsoft are now going after PS3 owners in a desperate attempt to entice them away from their beloved Playstation 3 consoles.

In their recent campaign Microsoft said, "Ditch your PS3 and get $100 dollars store credit towards Xbox One.

Sony has responded to this sneaky ad with a funny counter of their own, telling gamers to keep their PS3 and save $100 dollars by ignoring Microsoft and buying a Playstation 4.

We absolutely love this response, as that is exactly what you will be doing when you invest in a PS4 instead of an Xbox One. Saving a $100 dollars of the price differences between the two consoles.

If that doesn't sway you, consider this instead, why ditch your PS3 for an Xbox One when you could have a PS3 and PS4 instead. Sony have mentioned their on going commitment towards the playstation 3, regardless of the Playstation 4 being the companies new pride and joy. As you can see from all the recent announcements, there are still tons of games being developed for both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, so the answer to Microsofts ditch your PS3 ad campaign seems logical to us anyway.

What do you think of Microsofts ad campaign? Would you ditch your PS3 for a $100 dollars towards an Xbox One? Let us know your thoughts on this interesting subject below.

Ditch PS3. Keep PS3. What would you do?
