At Sony HQ in Ginza, Toyko, an event was held in honor of Playstation exclusive Yakuza Ishin.  During the event Yakuza Ishin's Director Hiroyuki Sakamoto and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama had a few words and praises to say regarding their experience developing on the Playstation 4 during the Q&A session. Yokoyama first begun by comparing his initial feelings of the Playstation 4 to what he felt when he first saw the Playstation 2.

Sakamoto confessed that when he discovered he was going to be working on the Playstation 4, he felt nervous, but during development stage he realized there were a few limitations on the PS3, he could now comfortably achieve on the PS4. So the entire development team were keen on pushing Yakuza Ishin further on the new console to see just how much they could get from the new system. Due to the increased specifications on the PS4, Sakamoto-san also said it helped shorten load times, and make the creation process less stressful.
