From the start of January a certain number of growing  PlayStation fans have been enjoying PlayStation Now private Beta, the online game streaming service set for launch this summer.  Up until now PS Now private Beta has only been available to PlayStation 3 systems, but we are excited to reveal that the Private Beta program will now be making its debut on the PlayStation 4 console tomorrow May, 20th. If you have already signed up for PlayStation Now Private Beta, make sure you check your mailbox for incoming download codes from Sony HQ.

PlayStation Now gives you the choice to play a number of PS3 games like you would stream movies and TV episodes - directly to your PS Now compatible devices without the need to download or use discs. The first PlayStation Now compatible devices launching this Summer of 2014 are PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, select 2014 Bravia TV models and PlayStation Vita, with more compatible non Sony devices to follow down the line.

Peter Jamshidi Director of Marketing at PlayStation Now has informed us that the Private Beta program has been incredibly successful thus far, with Private Beta testers logging more than fifty-thousand game-play hours on new games and previous PS3 classics. Those interested in joining the Private Beta testing phase can still register by clicking here. Those who have already registered are being asked to be patient as Sony are expanding the opportunity for those still on the waiting list to join the Private Beta on a regular basis.

Stay tuned for more future updates coming soon. If you are already part of the PS Now private beta test team, do share your opinions in the comments below, we will be very interested to read what you think about it so far.
