Play Your Games Faster Than Ever With The Pre-Load Function On PS4

During E3 2014, over 10 games were announced and featured at the show all with upcoming pre-order dates on PlayStation Store. We are pleased to announce that each of those announced games will now also take advantage of PlayStation 4's automatic pre-load feature. Automatic pre-load on PlayStation 4 will enable you to download pre-orderd games before the official release date so you can play the games as soon as they are unlocked faster than ever before.

Pre-Order Transformers Rise Of The Dark Spark

Sony is aware how long it takes for some of the bigger games to download so with the pre-load functionality, you will be able to download and install those really huge files at least several days ahead of the release date. All pre-ordered titles will be automatically pre-loaded and automatically download to your PS4 console by default, so you don't need to worry about remembering which games you have already purchased, all you simply need to do is makes sure your PS4 in on standby mode for the system to work.

Those keen on trying this new feature need not wait long as Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, launching on June 24th, will be one of the first games to take full advantage of the automatic pre-load functionality. In addition all pre-order games on PlayStation's store on or after the 24th of May will be automatically pre-loaded. For those who also like to know exactly when their games will become available, PlayStation has also included a countdown timer to alert you the moment you can start playing.
