Blockbuster is going through some hard times again, having filed its second administration this year alone and customers are unfortunately having to jump through hoops to get their refunds back from the retailers.
Adam Sibley a customer at Blockbuster was left with no choice but to protest outside his local Blockbuster store with a Megaphone, requesting his money back for a PS4 pre-order he made. Mr Sibley had turned down an in-store offer of DVD's, CDs, and Blu-rays worth £450 pounds instead of his full refund on the Pre-ordered Playstation 4, reported the British Broadcasting News network.

The struggling chain had previously stated it would only refund customer pre-orders if they wrote into head office, but after Adam Sibley began protesting outside the store with his Megaphone at 9:00am last Friday, he was quickly reimbursed in full once the Shop opened their doors for business at 9:30 am.

Mr Adam Sibley was happy with the outcome stating, "It is a great result. I was first in the store and got my refund right away. Who in their right state of mind is going to spend £450 pounds on CD's, DVD's and  Blu-rays a month before Christmas? It's very unreasonable of them to expect me to accept their offer when I was expecting a PS4 console."

Blockbuster  Entertainment Ltd, did explain in a statement to the press that local in store cash refunds was not part of their usual policy, but they will be providing refunds made for PS4 pre-orders.
Customers who pre-order online were told to write into the companies headquarters for a refund, while people who had pre-ordered in stores were told to visit their local Blockbuster for more information.
As more and more consumers, give up on hight street stores for online shopping. Companies like Blockbuster will continue to see their profits take a nose dive. We just hope the staffs at Blockbuster are able to weather through this crisis and we wish them all the best during this difficult transitional process.

Did you Pre-order from Blockbuster? Have your requested you refunds yet, or would you be happy with £450 pounds worth of DVD's, CD's and Blu-Rays instead? Let us know.
