Need for Speed Rivals Is Coming to Playstation 4 on November 15th

Jessica Damerst EA's Community Manager has just informed us that Need for Speed Rivals will be a PS4 launch title on November 15th in North America. The team at Ghost Games have been hard at work to make sure they are part of Playstation 4's big launch day.

This is good news for racing  fans, still disappointed from Evolution Studios recent delay announcements on DriveClub and it's great news for EA and Ghost Games who are clearly capitalising on this huge gap in the racing genre title.

Jessica says, the entire team are delighted to be the first racing game on PS4, and that they are setting a new bar, when it comes to driving gameplay and visuals. Need for Speed Rivals is powered by Frostbite 3 engine, it boasts incredibly beautiful driving locations, stunning day and night graphics, even random weather changes depending on where in the world you are driving and loads and loads of Super Cars race with.


Beyond the games superb visuals, Ghost Games have put a lot of work under the hood of the bonnet so to speak. In Need for Speed rivals, gamers can look forward to an all new feature called AllDrive which allows players to seamlessly choose between various  modes from single player, co-op, multiplayer. and an all new way to play the racing game.

Due to the random gameplay in AllDrive, and unpredictability you never know what could happen during a challenge so gamers can share their crazy racing capers to the world, to dazzle, inspire or even to laugh with friends.

Continue the Race with Remote Play

Need for Speed also has Remote Play feature right out of the box. Players will be able to put down the Dualshock4 control pads and continue their race on the PS Vita, when they have to give up the TV. This awesome new feature will also feature Overwatch mode, allowing for more ways to enjoy the Need for Speed racing game.

We think the team at Ghost Games have done a great job lining up some great features for Need for Speed Rivals, and we can't wait to play Cops vs Racers on November 15th.
