PS4 Future Update to Include SHARE Enhancements and HDCP Off

New Sharing Enhancements Coming To Playstation 4

We have a ton of new information streaming through from GDC 2014, but first we would like to inform you of some awesome new updates coming soon to PS4 as per request from the Playstation Community. The new Playstation 4 software update will help make your PS4 more socially connected by the allowing you to customize and share your special gaming moments and experiences with friends and the PSN Community.

The update will also add a rich video editor software, featuring a simple tool to help gamers personalize their favorite gaming footages and screenshots which can then be exported, saved or shared by pressing the SHARE button to a USB thumb drive. In addition the upcoming update will also include a HDCP off option for recording your gameplay via HDMI.

Those who stream games via Twitch and Ustream will also be pleased to know that Sony are working with these companies to improve the broadcasting quality of the live streaming games to a higher resolution of up to 720p, so PS4 fans can enjoy watching their favorite broadcasters games with clearer images.
