CD PROJEKT's latest title The Witcher 3 has come under fire today after new images emerged showing what appears to be graphical downgrades on some of their recent screenshots.

One of the main images under severe scrutiny has been that of the wolves' hair shown below, which according to members on their official forum and on NeoGaf have complained about the lack of detail in contrast to what was initially showcased here on youtube.

Many have even gone as far as stating this new screenshot was taking from console platforms and not PC, which has also sparked the debate. WorldFactory.Net reached out to CD Projekt for a response to this allegations and community manager Marcin Momot responded with the following Statement:

The discussion on visuals has and still is a very sensitive subject for console gamers especially when you consider the fiasco with Watch_Dogs graphics before and after E3 2014.  According to the recent statements,  The Witcher 3 will hopefully not fall under this same issue.  From what we've seen at several industry events, the game does look fantastic even at its current stage of development and believe this incident is just being blown out of proportion.

What do you guys think of the statement?  Leave us your comments below.
